This is a great way to study the Word of God with anointed teachers if you are unable to attend classes on site.

In 2012 we will be launching the E-Learning option for external students. You will be able to log on to the internet and listen to the same lectures as the on campus students receive. The online E-Learning system will allow you to download the syllabus and lecture notes and participate in discussion forums.

Students with no access to the internet will be supplied with CDs or DVDs and notes from recent VLIBTC lectures. Teachers will be available to answer questions by phone, appointment or email. Assignments may be emailed or posted in to teachers. Exams will require an invigilator who will supervise and forward items to the college. A Statement of Attainment will be issued where competency is gained in a subject. 

Students are invited to take part in the graduation ceremony at VLIBTC to receive their Certificate or Diploma when a course is completed. External Studies is not available to International Students.

Full time External

In order to qualify for Austudy an external student is required to complete at least 75% of the course subjects in one study year. This requires a workload of approximately fourteen hours per week.

Part time External

Individual subjects may be taken at the student’s own pace. Audit options are available. External studies are not available to students in the Perth metropolitan area unless there are exceptional circumstances.

External Courses Available 

• Certificate IV in Christian Studies
  If desired this can be followed by the Diploma of Christian Ministry then the Advanced Diploma of Christian Ministry.
